About Us

A Place of Worship is a non-denominational ministry. We believe the Bible in its fullness is the infallible word of God. The Scriptures throughout the Torah, Prophets and Writings, and fulfillment hold the mysteries of Gods plan of salvation and to reveal the Promised Messiah.

My teaching comes from years of going to church and reading the bible, over and over. When I came to faith I was encouraged to read the bible, so I did. It left me confused and with many questions. No one in church could answer my questions, but I continued reading.

My curiosity being what it is, I purchased Bible Software that came with a variety of bible versions, commentaries, maps, dictionaries, and more importantly the Hebrew/Greek original text. I looked at many commentaries, many of which argued about the spiritual interpretation of scripture. For me, that meant that no one really understood.

I’ve heard about the Hebrew roots of our faith, and I was Curious as to why the Messianic Jews and Gentile churches did not worship together; We use the same bible.

I found a Messianic Congregation and met a teacher that taught me how to use Hebrew and connect scriptures from one area of the bible to another, along with a few other ways of studying the Scriptures.

That was all I needed to give me a brand-new perspective of the Bible. I had to re-evaluate my theology and began reading with a new set of eyes. I found using only the bible and leaving out the commentary gave me a look at the scriptures without any outside ‘theories’ of Scripture. I found the Bible speaks for itself just as Paul said.

1 Cor 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. NKJV

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. NKJV

Separate the Spiritual from the Natural.

Jesus and Nicodemus. It wasn’t until I learned to Separate the Spiritual from the Natural. The works of the flesh were nailed to the cross. All that remains is the Spiritual Covenant of Faith. That is what Torah teaches when you read it in the context of the Kingdom of heaven vs. the works of the flesh.

This level of teaching is good for those familiar with the bible and looking for more insight. You do not need to know the bible. You only need to know how to study the bible using concepts that are at your fingertips in the bible.
