You have to think ‘Spiritual’ for the significance of Noah. Genesis is a book of parables. God making known the end from the beginning. Genealogy plays a very significant role in understanding the scriptures. When you align the translated names, they tell you a mystery.

Noah is Hebrew for Sabbath Rest,

Shem is Hebrew for ‘the name’,

Ham is Hebrew for ‘Hot’ pointing to Judgement.

Japheth is Hebrew for Expansion..

At the Sabbath brings rest from the works of the Law, the Messiah brings Judgement on those who rejected him as their Messiah, but brings into the covenant of faith the children of the promise, those born of the Spirit.
